A crawler drilling rig is a machine with attachments, the main purpose of which is to drill various holes in the ground. Gearbox for drilling rigs
Taking into account the high dynamic and static loads to which the gearbox is subjected, all its elements are made of durable and wear-resistant materials. Such a unit is equipped with special gears, which alternate with special axles, which are also highly resistant to long-term physical use.
Such elements ensure correct switching, as a result of which the drilling speed and other parameters of the drilling rig change. The compact design of such geared motors allows them to be used even in small drilling rigs, significantly expanding the scope of their practical use.
It is important to note that exclusively planetary gearboxes are used here, the name of which is determined by the use of a spur gear. In other words, this unit is based on a coaxial method of transmitting rotation, when the output shaft is located on the same axis with the engine and is characterized by a strictly vertical arrangement of the shafts.
A gearbox of this type has managed to prove itself positively because it copes well with heavy loads. If during operation wear of internal elements or malfunctions are detected, it is replaced with a new element.
